Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Navaxon Technologies Private Limited ("Navaxon", "we") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data in connection with the website navaxontechnologies.com (the "Site") and any communication you initiate with us. This page is maintained by Navaxon and aligns with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

2. Personal data we collect

  • Enquiry data — name, organisation, email address, WhatsApp identifier (when you contact us on WhatsApp), enquiry topic, message content, and any files or context you choose to include.
  • Technical data — IP address, user-agent, referrer, and coarse device information logged by the hosting platform for security and abuse prevention.
  • Preference data — the theme choice (dark or light) is stored in your browser's local storage. It is not transmitted to us.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. The Site does not use behavioural advertising, third-party marketing pixels, or session-replay tools.

3. Purposes and lawful bases

  • Responding to enquiries you initiate — consent, and where relevant, performance of a pre-contractual step.
  • Operating and securing the Site — legitimate interest in the integrity of our systems.
  • Meeting statutory and regulatory obligations under Indian law.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It uses browser local storage for a single preference (theme). Fonts are served by Google Fonts; loading a font page can result in a request to Google's servers, which is governed by Google's privacy notice.

5. How we share data

We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with the following categories of processors, under written agreements that require confidentiality and appropriate security measures:

  • Hosting and content delivery providers that operate the Site.
  • Email infrastructure providers used to receive and respond to enquiries.
  • Government, judicial, or regulatory authorities where disclosure is required by law.

6. International transfers

Personal data is primarily processed on infrastructure located in India. Where a processor operates outside India, transfers are made under the exceptions and safeguards permitted by the DPDP Act and, for EU personal data, under Article 46 GDPR safeguards or an applicable derogation.

7. Retention

Enquiry data is retained for 24 months from the last interaction, or longer where a contract, tax, or statutory obligation requires it. Server security logs are retained for 90 days. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 9).

8. Security

We apply reasonable security practices under Rule 8 of the SPDI Rules and Section 8 of the DPDP Act: encrypted transport (TLS), least-privilege access controls for our systems, and staff confidentiality obligations. No system is absolutely secure; if a personal-data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India within the timelines required by law.

9. Your rights

Subject to verification, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase personal data where retention is no longer necessary or lawful.
  • Withdraw consent (this does not affect prior lawful processing).
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity (DPDP Act).
  • Register a grievance with our Grievance Officer, and thereafter with the Data Protection Board of India.
